On New Year’s Eve, we gathered together to bid a farewell to the old year and welcome the new one with godly expectation. We first invited Holy Spirit to inspire us for having our New Year’s expectations such as ‘what Holy Spirit would like us to do’, ‘what would Holy Spirit like to do on us’, and ‘what we wish for’. Each of us wrote down what came into our mind on a piece of paper, folded it up and burnt it on the Lord’s altar as our burnt offering.
Hana said one time she did this a few years back, her expectation was answered by God within 24 hours! We trust that He is faithful, and He is happy to see these wishes fulfilled and completed as long as our desire is aligned with His plan.
Happy New Year! We pray that 2016 will be another wonderful year with more breakthroughs, and may we continue to see God’s mighty work over this town, country and the world we are living in.
