The weather forecast said that it would rain tomorrow. Before going to bed, I prayed, ‘Father, we have our dream interpretation, some folks will do their processions in both Colchester and Chelmsford. Would you please give us a good weather tomorrow?’
In the morning the sun was shining and even the sky was very blue in the town as if He showed us His favour. Some church folks who saw us said ‘Hello’ while they were heading towards the Good Friday procession.
I was interpreting John’s dream while Karen had gone to get some giveaway roses. Phil also saw me and gladly asked me to pray for him since he was suffering from both physical and emotional pains due to his chemotherapy treatment. In the meantime we were able to share the gospel message and interpreted a few dreams until the procession ended in the square where we were.
While the square was bustling with the folks from the procession, I noticed Yasmina who was sitting on a bench. She is an 18 year-old girl who has a Moroccan Dad and a British Mum. She could not recall any dream but was glad to receive a rose that I gave to her. She said that she has never heard a gospel message due to her Dad’s Muslim influence at home until I shared a simple message. At the end of our conversation, she gave her life to the Lord. When she and I had finished the prayer, her friend just arrived. She was late because the bus was delayed. Who knows Father caused a delay for Yasmina to hear the message?
