This month I would like to talk about the ministry of ‘Journey Into Wholeness (JIW)’ based in Essex. It is a resisted charity aiming at giving answers for those who are seeking for spiritual things although the seekers are mainly thriving on the dark spirits. Many people in Britain believe in the scriptural realm and are looking for holistic health and real spirituality, yet sadly they no longer look to Christianity and the churches for answers but to other beliefs and religions.

In this respect, Howard and like-minded Christians had a passion for reaching to such spiritual seekers and started to give them the Christian leaflets outside the event hall in Colchester about 10 years ago.

Now JIW uses the ‘Jesus Deck’ at the LifeArts Mind Body Spirit Festivals as a tool to prophetically speak into people’s lives with a Christian perspective by partnering with the Holy Spirit.

While the event is on, JIW generally holds a stall for the Jesus Deck table and operates a prayer space at a local church nearby the event hall and prayer walks around the exhibition. For a two-day event in June 2016, more than 79 seekers dropped by the Jesus Deck, and some of them gave their life to the Lord.
